I am sorry to hear that you have problems at work , as your nickname -know what you want in life and find something that you like .
It is not often to find a job that you like , even if you like it a the beginning but after a few years it won't the same , treat a job as something you need to do to put food on the table for the family .

which sector are you working in ? U not Sgreans ?
If 20 years in the same job than definitely the "excitement is not there like in the first few year, that is why I say is something you have to just do to put food on the table for the family .
In current environment , if you are a Sgrean that there could be opportunities as the labour market adjust .

I'm a sgrean but so far I feel sgreans are the ones that like to engage in gutter politics esp the women
