Ms Sylvia Lim (Aljunied GRC) asked about the decision to appoint Mr Khaw Boon Wan, a former chairman of the PAP, as the chairman of the new media entity after SPH's restructuring.

She also asked if it was not a missed opportunity to appoint someone else who is not so closely linked to the Government, and if there were any other candidates considered.
