What are the things you buy in Johor which are much cheaper than in Singapore?

1)

The cheapest stuff in comparison with SG are: petrol, house, and car.

Food in general is around 30% cheaper only, though I note that mooncakes are significantly cheaper in JB.

Average wages singaporean able to enjoy western standard of living eg car, landed ppty or spacious condo, go restaurant etc easily when they cross over the bridge. No matter how hard someone try to argue those are not needed by singaporean, you cannot ignore the fact that it is desired by most of singaporean if they able to. Those livable city also take those western standard as indicator, sg have the convenience but due to land contraint, they will never make it into top.

Almost no brainer for retirees to retire in M'sia , esp JB where u can come back SG anytime u want easily .

Best of both worlds :)

Yes for retirees, it's a great deal, esp if you have existing SG properties that can be "monetized". Not so comfortable for working people though, given the unpredictable jams....

Mabe the list would be shorter if we ask for the list of things in JB that are much more expensive than in Singapore? :p

Can you think of any? Maybe there are...but i cant think of any now.

Some imported fruits could be cheaper in SG than JB, esp as big supermarkets like NTUC have the purchasing volume.

Imported Electronics?

Used to be cheaper in SG, but is no longer now, following the removal of tariffs in favour of 6% GST. Maybe some vehicle spare parts are still cheaper (only slightly) in SG compared to JB, due to volume.
