Only S'pore citizens and PRs are allowed to purchase.

It is only common out of greed that many will cash in on opportunities for SELF GAIN. With the World biz leaders, & China, with claims to be the factory of the World, OPPORTUNITIES to make profits would be keenly MONITORED Worldwide.

Rest assured, with the announcement that our limited - due to resources & perceptions of demand - the COMMEMORATIVE coins to HONOR the Founding Father of our Nation will be limited & to only citizens whom shared the ideals our founding Fathers & forefathers. Opportunists Worldwide whom had acknowledged the progress of Singapore will attempt to cash in on it. It is only normal as greed is still prevalent in Humankind.

However, the difference between the opportunists & our honorable Stat Boards is that the commemorative coins issued to those whom honor the sacrifices, courage, hardwork, egalitarian efforts & much more, are LEGAL TENDER with a base value of at the least $10, for those whom are in need of cash urgently to sell it, accepted by all traders as it is BACKED by the ASSETS of the STATE & hardworking gainfully employed PEOPLE of Singapore whom selflessly brought REVENUE to the STATE Treasury EVERYDAY. In Singapore, thanks to our Founding Fathers & Forefathers, we will leave no one behind unless they chose to out of Free Will.

Those dolls or whatever toy that is bought by opportunists are worth NOTHING as it can be easily produced at mere cents & sold 10 times the value & more, to produce even billions if the foolish need persists, such as crypto coins which are backed by nothing but greed, for speculation, in the hope that the foolish at the bottom whom support stupidity will end up as the losers, to enrich the producers & first buyers whom aim is to gain profits at the morons' expense.

What if they celebrate multiple anniversaries of LKY... similar to Guanyin?

Birthday, death anniversary, day he first joined politics etc.

I guess Shengwu has given up all hope of ever returning. And we are the poorer for it.

No worries, you got LHL's heir right here in Sg, he's like, not going like, anywhere :

He can't go anywhere. The market will expose him as incompetent. Only mommy and daddy will make sure he rises in the cesspool called The Civil Service.
Shit floats after all...

Don't forget about tycoon Tan Lark Sye who was a true patriot of S'pore.

In 1955 Mr Tan Lark Sye donated $5m in cash and as President of Hokkien Huay Kwan, he got HHK to contribute the huge track of freehold land to build Nanyang University which was the first and the only Chinese university established outside China.

In the early sixties Lark Sye contributed some money to Barisan Socialis and for that he was accused to be a communist and he was stripped off his citizenship and bannished to Ipoh.

In 1972 Mr Tan was diagnosed with advance cancer and only then they allowed him to return home and he passed away six months after his return, but he was not vindicated.

In 1981 Nanyang University was taken over and changed to NTI and later to NTU.

In 2019 after more than 5 decades of branding Tan Lark Sye as a communist, Minister of Education Ong Ye Kung delivered a half hour speech at NTU to exonerate Patriot TLS and also name a street name Tan Lark Sye Lane to honour him.
