again, please explain why SDP's supporters were never SDP MEMBERs but boastfully highlighted themselves as partyless and then set up SDP subsidiaries?

I believe it is because of the 11 conditions by RP and not really because of his position. I think all sides overreacted. RP was upping the ante, which is a normal negotiation process. Chiam didn't have to accept all. Desmond didn't have to worry that Chiam will accept all. Mrs Chiam didn't have to worry that Desmond would oppose all for all sake.

All in all, this is the problem with bosses who don't work their way up.

Why must Desmond Lim sacrifices Singaporeans wish to satisfy his own selfish behaviour. If he is so confident of winning a fight, ALONE, with PAP, so be it and don't drag down Chiam's good foresight of combined forces to tackle PAP. There is no better time than now to consolidate forces and unite with all anti-PAP establisments. This is the last chance for Singaporeans, I hope Desmond could cast away his ego and stop stirring shit to dampen the favourable force.
