Usually I take about 1 hour to reach my workplace (start counting from my home doorstep to office). Today due to maintenance of the mrt track between bukit batok and Jurong East, it took me 2.5 hrs to reach office. Noticed, just 1 mrt station distant of non-operational can cause this extra 1.5 hrs to my schedule. The lesson I learnt today is for us to stop complaining about our MRT, instead to appreciate it. Despite the extra time taken today, I am not enrage to own a car.Car owners, you may not think likewise, you dumb asses are willing to allow the garmen to squeeze you dry now, and 10 yrs later your vehicle become a shit of scrape metal :D:D:D

Ning Nah Bay Pua Chee Bye lah. U so Lan Jiao smart, take a walk to work and dont let the govt squeezed u by allowing more FTs to come here, taking the train and squeezing u too. 10 mths later, u squeezed ur own balls!

I don't see why a 1.5 hour delay can make anyone appreciate the MRT. Maybe you can learn lessons from all sorts of unrelated and irrelevant things, or you simply can't gather your thoughts and think coherently.

This 1.5 hr of delay today made me realised how convenient and efficient it was during normal days without the maintenance. Most of the time when something is lost, then a person will realise how impt that thing was before.

I don't need to sqeeze my own ball, now already got FT squeeze my ball in mrt , and I yearning for more FT so that I can squeeze their neh neh pok.

Before I blame on the MRT for not having a proper backup plan in place for affected commuters and ensure they would not be penalize more then 10 minutes of their time. May I know why you took an extra 1.5 hours for such a short segment ( between Bukit Butok and Jurong east )?

Are you implying our bus service is horrendously bad? Or are they not talking to SMRT or not inform of their maintenance?

SMRT stated that the estimated travel time for the shuttle bus from bt batok to JE is 45mins. I did not bother to take this route, so I went for the taxi queue, it was a long queue, end up have to make current booking. Big fraction of my extra time spent was in the taxi queue.
