When people live longer in this era and so does the wait for inheritance for their children?

If Kwa were to die in her 60s, her children would inherit her big wealth in their 40s and they can enjoy the money for the next 20-30 years without having to work.

Now die at 89, her children are already in their +60s and that is very late to inherit her big wealth to enjoy the money. At such late age, inherit such big wealth no use cause the receiver could also die anytime or tomorow too and not much time to enjoy the wealth.

If i remember correctly, the estate duty got abolished just a few years back, Why? Are they preparing for this day to come?

no matter how much riches or inheritance, it cant go beyond 3 generations. as the old saying goes, poor men have poor men sickness, rich men have their sicknesses too.

poor men's sicknesses relatively manageable by visiting TCM/ GP or polyclinic. rich men's sicknesses often complicated & require visiting specialists that cost several folds to that of TCM/ GP or polyclinic.
