IMO there isn't a last chance, he missed it. When WP kicked him out of the CEC, it's basically written all over the wall. The silence from all parties involved basically condemned him. If anyone of the 4 main parties involved came out and said something, anything, a yes or a no. It gives Yaw the chance to refute or apologize. They chose neither and it's too late now. Even if they tried to condemn the rumor, no one will believe them. Most pple will see it as a cover up, if he apologize now, it will look like he was forced into it since the chinese papers are going into overdrive on this issue. He basically dug himself into this hole. If only he had said something, anything a lot earlier. In the current circumstances, it's actually best for him to just keep quiet and maintain his stance to not comment

Ideally ,all 4 ,I mean both the husbands and wifves could have called a press conference and could have denied the scandal as rumors.While Sylvia Lim,as a legal counsel,could have wield the stick and issue a stern veiled threat that any further spreading of such rumors would cost one and all dearly.The matter would than have ended there and than.Even if all the parties are guilty of sexual misconduct.

But WP kept pussyfooting and dragged itself into the m&d.
