Long queues but Town Council's counters still closed for lunch at 2.30pm

STOMPer Peter was shocked that Hong Kah Town Council's payment counters were still closed for lunch at 2.30 pm.

Long queues had formed by then and the counter staff came in only at 2.45 pm, says the STOMPer.

He adds:

"I went to the Hong Kah Town Council at 2.30pm to pay my season parking fees and all the counters were closed with a very long queue behind them.

"They finally opened at 2.45pm after many complaints from the people queuing, but only one counter was operating.

"Is this what they mean by world class service?

"Or do they just have a super long lunch time?"

Town council by law have to open even on lunch time. The staffs will get a rotating time to go lunch which is only 1 hr or less. I have no problem visiting town council even on lunch time in my area, because half of the counter will be still open on lunch hour.
Which town council office is that? Must fuck the MPs in that area.

go to bukit panjang plaza between 12 to 3pm. u will be able to see MINDEF/SAF people shopping, eating lunch etc.
