Didn't like the local dishes I tried. Even tried the spaghetti at a local MacDonald. It was just terrible

- Has anyone noticed all Filipino food is gross?
Has anyone else noticed all Filipino food is disgusting and bad for you? They recently put a Filipino grocery store and restaurant next door tome. I can't find anything there I like.

- I lived in The Philippines for 4 years and visited there again two Christmases ago. I could not eat most of the food they love. I had to find western markets to buy a lot of my food or else eat a lot of grilled chicken, there's plenty of that there.

The Filipinos love this oyster sauce that they pour over food while frying. It throws up a stench that gags me. They eat a lot of fatty pork too. They do not trim off the fat. Filipinos have a very high rate of diabetics because of this.You can see it in many Filipinos eyes ... they are bloodshot and they are not hungover.

A healthy thing they eat is a lot of fish. The Philippines is an islands nation. They have plenty of fishy I like "Kinnilau" ... it's raw tuna mixed with onions a little vinegar and some other spices.
