PETALING JAYA - A woman who cuts her hair either in a shop or at home must plant the hair to avoid being touched by foreign men (legal to marry).
This is because according to a sharing on the Facebook page of the Office of the Mufti of the Federal Territory (PMWP), the woman's hair is part of the aurat and is forbidden to be touched or held by the concerned group.
"Foreign women's hair is aurat whether it is still attached to the body or cut off.
"Therefore, the aurat for a woman's hair that has been cut is forbidden to hold, it is also obligatory to plant it," wrote the message.
The post was made to answer the question of a male sweeper who had been holding a hair fall believed to belong to a woman in front of a Muslim barber shop.
According to Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari, the PMWP said, the entire genitals of ajnabi women are haram to be seen, so it is haram to touch them without a pad because touching them is more delicious.
"It is also forbidden to hold the face of a foreign woman absolutely even if you can see.
"It's not just that, parts that are separated illegally are also held like fingernails, or women's feet and hair. Those members must also be planted," he said.
Explained PMWP, aurat that can be revealed even if a woman's face cannot be touched.
