I am calling on all those lovers of the sea - be they swimmers, scuba divers or snorkellers.
Please DO NOT Come to Langkawi Islands for a swim in bikinis. You girls may be charged in the Shariah Court for your very dress "may cause Muslim men to go the wrong way".
Lagi worse, you may be lynched or even "physically-ravaged".
Whatever travel companies is telling you about Langkawi is NOT THE TRUTH.
The whole truth is coming from KL itself in relation to these ban.
Scuba drivers and snorkellers keep away from Tioman as the corals there are all bleached and diseased.
If you want to dive please do so in baju-kurung and tudung (for females) and in Islamic male attire (preferably the long dress worn by Arabs) for males.
Simpadan and Ligitan Islands are extremely dangerous too. Since Malaysia got them from Indonesia, the Abu Sayyaf and MORO people (who enters and exit Malaysia easily) hates un-Islamic behaviour.
Go to Secular Indonesia indeed.
They have better respect for their women-folk and are more open to such "international behaviour".
