North Korean state media released photos of the Hwasong-15 missile allegedly used in the latest test launch. The photos show Kim Jong-un personally overseeing the launch of the ICBM, which Pyongyang claims is capable of hitting the US mainland.
North Korea fired a ballistic missile which splashed down in the Sea of Japan early Wednesday, the South Korean, Japanese, and US militaries confirmed. Pyongyang claimed the Hwasong-15 reached an altitude of around 4,475 kilometers and flew 950 kilometers during its flight, which lasted 53 minutes.

Pyongyang announced in a statement read on North Korean state TV that the missile was a Hwasong-15. “Tipped with super-large heavy warhead,” the missile is “capable of striking the whole mainland of the US,” the statement from North Korea said on Wednesday, as cited by KCNA Watch.

  On Wednesday, North Korea tested the Hwasong-15 missile, which splashed off the Japan coast. Pyongyang claims it was an upgraded projectile capable of delivering a nuclear payload to any part of the United States. The test followed a two-month pause in test launches, which gave some hope that Pyongyang and Washington may find a way to talk their differences over instead of resorting to belligerent rhetoric, which has been their main mode of operation this year.
  
  The US has been demonstrating to North Korea its military might by staging a number of exercises in the region, some jointly with its allies South Korea and Japan. The escalation in tensions came as a disappointment for Moscow, which is advocating a ‘double freeze’ approach, in which North Korea halts missile and nuclear tests and the US stops its military maneuvers.
  
  Sergey Lavrov said, “in September the American colleagues hinted that the next exercise may not come until spring [2018], which may give North Korea a pause and make it refrain from any rash action… We were hopeful about the approach, but then they stage [an] unscheduled exercise in October, then in November, and now they have declared they will have [a] large-scale unscheduled exercise in December.”
  
  The US policy of ramping up sanctions on North Korea to force them to roll back the missile and nuclear programs is not working, according to Lavrov. The potential for the pressure “has essentially exhausted itself” he said, adding that Washington should stop ignoring the calls from other countries, including Russia, which ask it to open direct negotiations with Pyongyang.

It is obvious that NK has a very powerful rocket engine now, and their Hwasong-15 is made to carry a very big payload. They should be doing multiple warheads, MIRV and if necessary use 2 or 3 or 4 rocket engines to launch.

Kim's immediate focus however, should be an effective counter measure against USA, to eliminate Pentagon's calculations to destroy NK nuke capabilities and kill himself.

The best way now, is to have a timer reset nuke hidden in sea / ocean that will automatically launch SLBM to multiple US cities - unless a Secret Encrypted Reset command is Periodically Received BEFORE TIME-OUT. In this way, even if USA succeeded in nuking Pyongyang by surprise or any other invasion or assassination or kidnapped Kim, they will get nuked heavily from unknown directions, may be even right from their own coast. If Kim want to, he should hire Mexican drug cartels to smuggle several h-bombs via the many secret tunnels into USA, and setup as these kind of timer-reset auto-detonation arrangements, planted secretly in different cities. This is BEST INSURANCE POLICY, nothing else can be more effective.

After this effective counter-measure, Kim can then have time to develop his rockets and MIRVs or SLBMs. Aka Make Korea Greater Again!

　　东北亚某核大国今天试射火星-15型洲际弹道导弹，并取得圆满成功。火星-15型洲际弹道导弹可以打击到美国本土，各方面性能比火星-14型洲际弹道导弹大幅提高。据韩国中央通讯社29日中午报道，当地时间11月29日凌晨2点48分在平壤近郊进行了能够搭载超大型重型核弹头的洲际弹道导弹。导弹沿预定轨道飞行53分钟，弹道高度达到4475公里，飞行距离950公里，其射程可以覆盖美国本土。这次发射实现了这个国家导弹强国的目标，完成了国家核武历史大业。那么，火星-15与中国的东风-41导弹比较性能如何呢？

阅兵式上展示的火星-13机动弹道导弹
　　从近年的几次导弹试射来看，东北亚某核大国的进步很快，从火星-12、火星-13到火星-14，再到现在的火星-15，该国终于实现了自己打击美国全境的梦想。在今年7月28日第二次试射火星-14时，当时的飞行高度仅为2802公里，飞行过程为47分钟，飞行距离为988公里，当时推算如果向美国发射则射程可达10400公里。从这次发射的数据来看，火星-15导弹沿预定轨道飞行了53分钟，弹道高度达到4475公里，飞行距离950公里，就此推算该导弹最大射程应为13500公里，这足以攻击美国境内任何目标。

报道中提到的氢弹原理结构分析
　　根据该国的报道分析，火星-15导弹是火星-14的改进型，这也就说明火星-15导弹仍属于液体战略洲际弹道导弹，但是从其可在TEL发射车上的体积来看，说明东北亚某核大国的液体火箭发动机小型化技术还是不错的。一般认为，火星-14导弹使用了可储存式液体燃料（这使其发射准备时间大大缩短），其弹体直径为2.9~3.0米，这已经十分接近中国的固体洲际弹道导弹的直径了，因此火星-15导弹才能使用机动发射车发射。

被称为是模型的导弹与东风-31的对比
　　同时，从各项参数分析，火星-15导弹已经和中国的东风-41基本相差无几了：从机动方式、TEL载车、结构尺寸和打击范围等方面来看，两者都是基本相似的。但是，火星-15和东风-41最大的不同在于，后者是固体燃料弹道导弹，在技术上要先进得多，而且，还使用了分导式多弹头技术，而火星-15很明显是较大质量单个核弹头，所以这两项技术东风-41足以领先火星-15导弹15~20年。因此，东北亚某核大国尽管具备了可打击美国全境的能力，但是就实力和技术先进行来说，与中国不在一个档次。

火星-14导弹再也没人怀疑是模型啦
　　分析认为，经过坚持不懈的努力，在不断加码的国际制裁重压下，东北亚某核大国终于走完了从近程弹道导弹到洲际弹道导弹和轻量级核试验到试爆氢弹的重大飞跃过程，这不能不说是一个世界奇迹。而且就该国所取得的成就来看，这不能不令包括美国、俄罗斯和中国在内的核大国感叹。从喊出打击美国开始，在接班后的不到6年时间里，就将这个国家发展到核大国的水平，这样的速度和结果只能令人无限感慨。但这样不顾周边国家的感受逆水行舟，其结局最终会怎样，恐怕最终也会更加出人意料。但最主要的是，此前该国多次阅兵展示导弹时，美日韩总是嘲笑是在拿模型糊弄世界，在这一系列试射后，恐怕这种嘲笑再也不会出现了！（作者署名：军评陈光文）

North Korea is ready to sit at the negotiating table for peace talks if it is recognized as a nuclear power, the Russian delegation to Pyongyang said, adding that the North claims that it was forced to be aggressive and will not stop its nuclear program.
“They [Pyongyang] are ready to talk, however the [North] Korean side has its own condition – it should be recognized as a nuclear power,” Vitaly Pashin, a member of the Russian delegation, told news agencies upon their return. The North is now ready to negotiate with Washington “under parity terms” with the participation of Russia as a third party, he added.

North Korea is capable of hitting any target in the US with its warheads “at any moment,” according to Pashin, who is also a member of the Russian State Duma. Pyongyang claims that it was forced to be aggressive and, following the launch of the ballistic missile, Pyongyang now feels safe. It would never abandon its nuclear program, North Korean officials told the Russian delegation.

Pyongyang fired the Hwasong-15 missile on Wednesday. It splashed down in the Sea of Japan, according to the South Korean, Japanese, and US militaries. North Korea claimed the missile reached an altitude of around 4,475km and flew 950km during its flight, which lasted 53 minutes.

According to a South Korean defence ministry spokesman, the missile is a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile that can fly over 13,000km. “It's assessed that the flight test was successful,” the spokesman said, as cited by Yonhap news agency. “In the case it were fired at a normal angle, it would be capable of flying over 13,000km. That means it can reach Washington DC.”

If the missile fired on Wednesday was indeed a Hwasong-15, it would represent a new development in Pyongyang’s nuclear program. The other launches that took place in 2017 are understood to have been the older Hwasong-14 ICBM, or the intermediate range (IRBM) Hwasong-12.

“Tipped with super-large heavy warhead,” the missile is “capable of striking the whole mainland of the US,” a statement from North Korea said on Wednesday, as cited by KCNA Watch. The aim of the missile is solely “to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country from the US imperialists’ nuclear blackmail policy and nuclear threat,” according to Pyongyang.

Moscow condemned the launch, calling it “a provocative act that triggers further escalation and moves us further away from crisis settlement,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday. “We do condemn the launch and hope all the parties will exercise restraint which is so much needed to prevent the situation in the Korean peninsula from going the worst way.”

美國大使黑利重申美國無意與北韓開戰，但北韓再射導彈令全球更加接近戰爭，她警告一旦開戰平壤政權將被摧毀。美國總統特朗普於試射後僅表示「會處理此事」，他後來就在Twitter稱會對平壤作出重大制裁，又更在公開場合痛斥金正恩是「有病小狗」（sick puppy）和「小火箭人」。

Soldiers and citizens of Pyongyang took to the streets in celebration to mark the successful launch of North Korea’s new intercontinental ballistic missile.
The festivities marked the launch of the Hwasong-15 missile earlier this week, which North Korean officials claim can reach anywhere in the mainland United States. Civilians took part in dances, while soldiers marched through the streets laughing and hugging.

"The successful test-fire of the new-type ICBM Hwasong-15 has thrown all servicepersons and civilians of the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] into great joy and excitement,” the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a statement Thursday. “Dancing parties were displayed by working people of various circles and youth and students in different parts of Pyongyang."

“The participants danced to the tune of songs ‘Our Leader Loved by the People’ and ‘The Country of the People,’ extending the highest glory and warmest congratulations to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, who registered a great success in accomplishing the historic cause of completing the state nuclear force and brought about such spectacular victory as putting an end to the history of aggression and nuclear threat by the imperialists.”

The celebrations in Pyongyang came after Wednesday’s declaration by the government that North Korea is now a nuclear state.

“After watching the successful launch of the new type ICBM Hwasong-15, Kim Jong-un declared with pride that now we have finally realized the great historic cause of completing the state nuclear force, the cause of building a rocket power,” said the statement read out by a television presenter, as quoted by Reuters.

The Hwasong-15’s test launch on Wednesday was personally overseen by Kim Jong-un. The missile is larger than previous models, and its home-produced mobile launcher vehicle bypasses the need to buy the weapons system from China. Some experts, however, believe the missile can reach no further than the US West Coast if the launch is undertaken with a real payload, and not a practice dummy.

North Korea has claimed that its ICBM and nuclear capabilities are for deterrence only.

“The development and advancement of the strategic weapon of the DPRK are to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country from the US imperialists' nuclear blackmail policy and nuclear threat, and to ensure the peaceful life of the people, and therefore, they would not pose any threat to any country and region as long as the interests of the DPRK are not infringed upon,” read an official statement in the Rodong Sinmun newspaper.

Recent months have seen rising tensions on the Korean Peninsula with the United States and its allies on one side and the DPRK on the other. While Pyongyang keeps pursuing its nuclear program and missile testing in spite of international condemnation, Washington and its allies continue to carry out provocative military maneuvers near the DPRK’s borders. Meanwhile, both sides have heated up the rhetoric. In November, US President Donald Trump added North Korea to a list of state sponsors of terrorism, paving the way for more sanctions.
