Turkey's boss is bro with Russia's boss.
Erdogan is a wily politician. He knows which side of his bread to butter on. Turkey is part of NATO and a partner in EU. Turkey is also the largest beneficiary of EU aid. Erdogan is pally with Putin but he also won't take the risk of fully siding with Russia whose economy is sinking deeper and deeper into abyss day by day due to the sanctions. Turkey is walking on a tight rope but at the end of the day money talks and Erdogan will go where the money is.

Siao Liao, a massive 40-mile long Russian military convoy at just 20 miles north of Kyiv. The next few days will be critical as Russia will be increasing the intensity of their attack.

Have Ukraine launch an attack on the convoy? It looks like sitting ducks

Seriously, I don't think the Ukrainian forces can hold on for much longer now that Russia is going full strength/force and they have the "father of all bombs", unless a ceasefire agreement can be reached by both sides at their next talk. The last one had yielded no outcome.

I think this time Putin really going all out. And he will unleash the illegal bombs that have been banned by the UN and rain in on Kiev. Innocent civilians going to suffer the brunt of his madness but he will not care. Just look at what happened in Syria. Outgunned, outnumbered, I don't really think Ukraine is able to hold on siege after siege. Once Kiev is surrounded by Russia forces, it's only a matter of time the defence is going to crumble. Putin is the modern day Hitler. The only solution is to eliminate him either by assassination or by overthrowing him which can only be done by the Russians themselves.

Agree. My prediction is Ukraine will eventually be taken by Kremlin and installed with a puppet regime that is pro-Kremlin. Those sanctions from the West will go on for months and probably years, severely crippling the Russian economy into a deep recession. Thereafter, if the man-on-the-street Russians are really pushed to their limits, hopefully a rebellion will form to oust Bloodymir Putin from office. Prior to this, there will be much bloodshed among themselves. Already, more than 5,000 peaceful protestors have been arrested by the Russian police at various Russian cities during the last 3 days of protests against this war.

In fact, many in Russia have already termed this as a "Putin's war", not a "Russian's war". Many Russians claim that they don't want this war and asking: why fight against their own brethrens?

NEW DELHI: An Indian student was killed on Tuesday (Mar 1) in shelling in Ukraine, New Delhi said, as it urged Moscow and Kyiv to secure safe passage for around 12,000 of its nationals who are stuck in the country.

"With profound sorrow we confirm that an Indian shitskin student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning," Indian foreign ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Twitter.

He added that the foreign secretary was "calling in the Russian and Ukrainian ambassadors to reiterate our demand for urgent safe passage for Indian nationals who are still in Kharkiv and cities in other conflict zones".

Kharkiv, Ukraine's second city, has been a target for Russian forces since President Vladimir Putin launched an invasion of the Eastern European country last Thursday.
On Tuesday, the central square of the city near the Russian border was shelled by advancing forces who hit the building of the local administration, regional governor Oleg Sinegubov said.

Before Russia's invasion, there were around 20,000 Indians in Ukraine. About 8,000 have since managed to leave the country, of whom some 1,400 have been flown back to India, according to officials.

According to Indian media, some students are facing difficulties crossing into neighbouring countries, with some Ukrainian border guards reportedly refusing to let them pass and demanding money.

"I was standing near the Ukrainian border, awaiting my turn to enter Romania when I saw a few guards point guns at Indian students and start abusing them in their language," the Times of India quoted one student as saying.

"Students, who were already scared, started screaming in terror."

The Hindustan Shitskin Times quoted Ishika Sarkar, a student in eastern Ukraine, saying in a video that Indians in the area were in bunkers and running short of food.
"(We) have been asked to reach the western border, which is impossible for us because the connecting bridges have been blown up due to bombardment ... but we are not getting any kind of help in Ukraine," he said.

Aruj Raj, a student in Kharkiv, told the paper that he has been in a hostel bunker with 400 other Indian students since last Thursday.

"There is so much bombing happening outside. We can see street fighting through our windows. The city is still under curfew. It is impossible for us to step outside. We hardly have anything left to eat or drink," he said.

India, which has long walked a tightrope in its relations with Moscow and the West and which gets most of its arms from Russia, last week abstained in the United Nations Security Council resolution deploring Russia's "aggression".
