I have to agree that Singapore would be a lot worse off under the WP if they took office with the current team of morons. You can't run a country with only a handful of the troops having above average IQs.

So the PAP Chairman has gone onto TV and made comments to the effect that it would be disastrous for the WP to form the Government because 'Ministers would resign, run away and go missing', obviously trying to use the YSL incident to discredit WP further.

I thought Desmond Choo said that he wants to run as an independent without the help of PAP bigwigs?

Why is his party Chairman intervening and campaigning on his behalf, especially using such baseless and manipulative rhetoric (that is, unfortunately, completely typical of the PAP)?

Low Thia Khiang and Sylvia Lim have not said anything in response.. but I would imagine that Pritam Singh would have alot to say when WP conducts its first rally. Pritam pulled no punches in all his rally speeches last year.

stupid khaw making stupid assumption...of course now WP dont have the capability to run a country...this point LTK already stated very clearly in the last election. Thats the very reason we singaporeans must start to help build up at least 1 opposition strenght immediatiely.....if we didnt do so now and just continue to reply happily on PAP...and condemn oppo....what will happen if PAP failed us??? Like Chiam says what Singaporean is left with if PAP fail Singapore?

If the current WP forms the govt, Singapore will indeed be in trouble. But then WP is not ready to form the govt now and they know it. So while KBW's statement is not wrong, he said it in the context of helping DC win this BE, and clearly with the intent to discredit the WP team.

Then again, this is politics. You wouldn't expect him to say anything else right?
