He should make know to all how much premium he paid, who pay for it and is it practical for someone who earn $4k a month to afford his type of coverage.

If not, what is the medical fee that an average joe have to pay for the same type of operation.
There are so many cases where one's saving are wiped out by exorbitant medical fee and many go JB to seek treatment.

If going by mean testing, he shouldn't be just paying $8. The poorest already fork out more than that on hospital bill. Since he mentioned personal life and public life are interwined, he need to come clean on the bills he paid. By not doing so, he fail to moral value and should be sacked.

SINGAPORE : The People's Action Party (PAP) Chairman Khaw Boon Wan has said voters in Hougang have been misled by the Workers' Party.
He was speaking to reporters just hours after the Workers' Party expelled Hougang's MP Yaw Shin Leong.
Mr Khaw said it is a sad development to learn that a Member of Parliament had been found by his party to be insufficient in character and had to be expelled from his party.

WP is good, they did the right thing to get rid of YSL although he is said to have made many contributions to the party. I will still support WP in the next election.
