ah seng, i ve told u before and i shall tell u now again.
do whatever u think is GOOD for peasants and do not be distracted by troll and your ardent obsessive fans and cherry and grapeseed pickers from the SDP IB. they know that there's no chance 'em clowns nor their messiah chee's gonna win anything. their motto: if they can't win, they make sure YOU can't too especially your favorite troll with FLIRT&DESTROY specialised skill.
the supporters behind u shall back u all the way until the day we see u finally and officially win a ward, become an mp. then again, would u remain as patriotic as u are now once u achieve your MP goal?
anyway, one step at a time : oust the paps; in the opp.....the rest would just leave to nature to take its course
Great stuff. As the day draws nearer, you will need to break it down to bite size pieces for voters. You probably know all these just in case.
Long Term:
- at a minimum a 2 party systems that will protect this country from being abused in the event that power moves from a currently misguided benevolent dictatorship to unmitigated tyrant. The current state and structure lends itself to abuse.
- independence of the media
- cutting the GLC apron strings and reducing direct govt particiaption in the commercial sector to just strategic ventures and business germination iniatives
- Zero tolerance for nepotism which is currently in the guise of meritocracy.
Short Term
- affordable housing
- jobs and livelyhood for Singaporeans
- removal of anti democratic electoral features such as GLCs, high deposits, compliant electroral body
- realistic salary remuneration for political appointments

Only a homosexual deviant who called his own mother, Yes! his own mother! who carried him inside her stomach for nine months and fed him till today, a "Lau Cheebye". Yes that's our forum's top political Analyst Bob Sim Kheng Hwee of Blk 171 Mei Ling Street!
Dear Takcheksian,
I am sorry that this interview depresses you. It is never meant to depress anybody.
Kelvin has posted a few very thought provoking questions and it is also about time I take stock on my own political development path. I have spent extraordinary long time to reply to his questions, just a true reflection on what I thought as a person that was born and brought up in the 1970s & 80s.
Kelvin's questions have forced me to re-consolidate my position and political beliefs, enhancing my resolve to make good of the years I am going to spend in the political arena. Well, I mean I am not going to spend my whole life in Singapore politics if I have the choice. I may have to move on in life to a higher calling.

Reading your long text make me zzzz, anyway, I took no position in any camp I am only a fun writer. Pardon me for harbouring such a rude attitude, nothing personal, as our wisest men Mr.Seow & Mr.Tan sipping his champagne and nibble his canape in eutopia giving advice to those wanted to step into politic - watch your step! what's your perspective in the political arena? for my good deed to you, not the nostalgic rule that everyone know: if you know the rule, the game is over!
Good luck, God bless you.

Some singkies are frogs in the well as you said, never seen the outside world, don't know and don't care what's happening.GMS I appreciate your work and thank you for your courage.
Your interview depresses me greatly... these are all true things that you've said, but there are so many sinkies who will rather be frogs in the well and tell themselves that PAP is better than alternatives. I wish they will wake up to reality and take action before it is too late.
Keep up the good work, and hope to see you in parliament soon, making speeches challenging government policy that does not benefit ordinary Singaporeans.Just to add, if everybody is to be frightened off by a few persons' unfortunate fate, there will be no progress. It is even more so when you feel that there are systematic organized oppression by a group of people and everybody choose not to do anything about it, there will only be regression.

that this metaphysics my father always gently whisper in my ear. (yes! i mean in the nirvana)
In the real world everything can be spinned even weather. In any part of the planet cost doesn't not = worth, if you dance to my music, you have sweeties, cakes, gentlely tap, perhaps a hug.
My father engaged a check party in the house, my siblings behave as they are in the world termination operation, everything in perfect order.
I hope you get what I mean. We need check party not a single word of doubt, but brother I can't participate becos I am 65 now going to sell salted egg soon. Anyway, keep up with the good attitude. God bless you.
In the real world, we all need somebody to do the dirty jobs like clearing your rubbish from the chutes. If nobody do it, then we will be in trouble.
Well, I don't mind to be that dumb one who will do the dirty job. It is alright as long I get the job done.

Seriously, Goh Meng Seng, I can't wait to see how the outcome will turn out for you in the next GE. Your performance in the last GE had help from the Gomez affair, did it not? All the good wishes is just extra weight on expectations of success. It won't be a pretty picture if you get clobbered. The best thing about all this is that we have a real oppo guy in this forum with his real name for a nic! IN THIS FORUM! :p:p:p

question: WHO PUT THE RUBBISH THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Some singkies are frogs in the well as you said, never seen the outside world, don't know and don't care what's happening.
There are also some singkies who are snakes in the well, slithering up and down the well, well aware of what's happening, but choose to see what matters to them and only interested in their own benefit.
