His latest quotable quote:

"The way forward is to have shorter, more productive hours for the same pay."

- NTUC deputy secretary general Ong Yee Kung

He was commenting on the new scheme to ease the shortage of security standards by allowing housewives and retirees by security firms.

This is the same joker who offered bus drivers their recent "pay-rise" accompanied by a "work-rise" of one extra day per week.

The people of Aljunied were really smart - they knew a fork-tongued joker when they saw one. And they let him 'get away'.

I don't see anything wrong with what he said, in fact I think Singapore should go that way.

We put in 8 to 10 hours of unproductive working hours, plus a half day Saturday, rather than 7 hours per 5-day week of work, and we can be producing the same output. Family time suffers, employers lose out on electricity bills. Lose-lose.

Its quite obvious OYK is a yes-man.

That is why they put him in NTUC to replace the ageing Zorro.

He has failed the first big test, GE2016. And ppl of Aljuneid is right on that choice when he came up with extra day work for bus drivers. He is definitely clueless.

How about: stop being such pro-business fascist cocksuckers, implement a minimum wage law (Hong Kong did it and is doing just fine), and introduce REAL profession-based labour unions with real negotiating power instead of that interest-conflicting, doublespeaking, tripartite bullshit called the NTUC?

I think Singapore is the only place on this planet when the leaders are incessantly calling for 'higher productivity', when the workers are already overworked and underpaid. Hardly surprising, because blur lines separate the PAP government and big business.

This OYK father betraying fucktard is a worthy successor to Shit Say.
Well done!

"Let's have better jobs for Singaporeans".
