Have the people use this less-tourist traffic period to improve their public roads, sewage, drainage, build more pleasant public toilet ?
Have the local people use this period to improve public hygiene, unclog drain, rivers ... how to prepare themselves for post-covid tourism ?
All we hear is how bad is their situation, which is the same story for other countries. Will we get to see a new Phuket ?
Are they using this time for future tourism preparation or they are just siting around, hoping for tourist ?
If they have been preparing, good for them, we will look forward to visiting when covid is over.
We want to see video on what their people are doing now, gives us something to look forward.
Will they allow Ride-Hailing app to operate in that island, OR they will continue those "Taxi-Mafia" to slaughter Tourist

Not elevate the country into industrial economy and educate their girls, rich or poor.
Let the girls take a higher and uni education loans to learn new technology trades....
With trade education their girls get better jobs and quality life style and can support her family better.
Technology economy is moving leaps and bound and ever changing upgrade and need to educated their girls to work in value added jobs. Even nurse jobs are high technology economy and taken by Pinoy, S Korea, Indians and Nepal girls.
Where are the Thai girls in nursing jobs overseas. Still dump them in the sex trade?
Didn't know Thai are deep in Buddhism and Buddhist scriptures taught them to be better knowledgeable people. They never learn from their believe in the teaching of scriptures. Sad.
This Covid did ground their sex trade to zero. If the males did not wake up and stop sex trade after this covid and start value their girls with uni education, they have shamed Asians region and Chinese yellow skins.
