Barbie Hsu Called A “Scoundrel” By Japanese Netizens After They Found Out She Bought 10,000 Masks In Japan To Send To Wuhan
Everyone’s in panic mode now.
By now, everyone would have heard of the controversy Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu caused when she flew to Japan and bought 10,000 masks to ship to Wuhan after the Taiwan government put in place a month-long ban on the export of masks due to the coronavirus outbreak. The 43-year-old also criticised the Taiwanese government for the ban. What Barbie did may have received praise from Chinese netizens, but unfortunately, her actions did not sit well with the Taiwanese, who called her out for being a traitor .
And now that the news has gone viral, it seems the Japanese are really angry with her too.

According to reports, Japan now has the highest number of confirmed cases (45 as of press time) of the coronavirus outside of China. And there's currently a shortage of face masks in the country.
Furious Japanese netizens have started to lashed out at the actress, calling her a scoundrel (which is the least offensive thing they've called her), and telling her to “go and die”.
Don't tell me Taiwan is a backward country where you can't buy masks? How delusional! said one angry Japanese netizen. “As it turns out, the Taiwanese are unreasonable people too,” wrote another.
