This is very typical place Indonesians go for dinner

So was on the way back from Bandung and decided to stop for dinner at about 8.45pm. There were two row of stalls and decided to have Nasi Uduk and Seafood so ordered from two stalls.

All new table will be served a tray of food, pay what you eat

It is a nice concept to see a tray of food on the table and pay what you eat. What are they going to do with the uneaten food? Reuse the uneaten food on a new tray for the next new table?

Duck beehoon breakfast at a shop this morning. Meat was very very soft, very nice.

When traveling in Jakarta and longing for Cantonese food can try their Duck King. It's like our Crystal Jade. Most major malls will have one. As the name suggest their roast duck is great. Always crispy on the skin and moist the meat. Comes in Singapore prices so don't be surprise.

Simple meal, wonton noodle, it's very nice

and a quarter duck

about $20
