SINGAPORE : Police have confirmed that Foyce Le Xuan, one of the women linked to the Jack Neo saga, has filed a report with them against the actor-director.

The authorities said they are investigating the matter.

The 29-year-old actress and singer, whose real name is Lim Hui Hui, made the report at Tampines Neighbourhood Police Centre on Monday.

Ms Lim alleged that Mr Neo had harassed her by sending messages to her mobile phone.

She also claimed that a few other men had made threatening phone calls to her.

The New Paper has cast doubts on the authenticity and credibility of actress-singer Foyce Le Xuan’s claims that Jack Neo had sexually harrassed her six years ago.
TNP journalist Gan Ling Kai brought up the following points of suspicion in an article today:
1. Foyce appeared to have sobbed uncontrollably during the interview, but stopped to look at herself in the mirror to check that her mascara did not smudge.
2. She brought along her latest album and promotional pictures and passed them to the reporters.
3. She had earlier claimed that Jack Neo sent her an SMS to invite her to share some private time in a hotel, but the alleged remark was not mentioned in the police report.
Jack Neo was embroiled in a series of sex scandals of late when his affair with a 22 year old model Wendy Chong was leaked to the press.
Foyce Le Xuan had stepped forward to accuse him of sexual harrassment which he denied vehemently prompting her to lodge a police report against him yesterday for “self-protection”.
Both Jack and Foyce are from the City Harvest Church. Jack had declined to comment further on the matter when approached by the media yesterday.
On a sidenote, the percentage of Singaporeans who hate Jack Neo increase from 17 percent to 25 percent after his press conference last week, according to a poll done by TNP

Not necessarily so! This is uniquely Sinkapore style. At least, she didn't christened herself Pubic ; Cummy or some other equally more moronic names! Admittedly, a name like hers, Foyce instead of the usual Joyce is a talking point by itself and that's the whole idea as she is in the entertainment industry. Even the name must be entertaining.

There's no specific sexual harassment law in Singapore. You've watched too many American TV dramas. Singapore Parliament is too busy with serious matters like figuring out how to shift electoral boundaries, which MP to be posted where, than to pass any law on sexual harassment.
