Jabs and potshots on Obama

. "He's never run a city, never run a state, never run a business, never run a military unit. He's never had to lead people in crisis," said former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani of McCain's rival. "This is not a personal attack ... it's a statement of fact — Barack Obama has never led anything. Nothing. Nada."

. "In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers," she said in another cutting reference to Obama's campaign theme. "And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change." ----- Sarah Pilan in her speech today at the RNC

. "I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a `community organizer,' except that you have actual responsibilities," ----- Sarah Pilan in her speech today at the RNC

Well, am I supposed to be impressed with the Republican's kitchen sink strategy that offers a load of hot air, a load of negativity, a load of allegations, and not much else about sorting out the pressing issues of the day?

After all, when you have not much credentials in the first place, you have to distract people from looking into it. Hence, the kitchen sink. Too bad its actually much more repulsive than impressive.

And since its coming from a right-winger like you, I'm hardly impressed, pretty boy.:cool:

I await the Biden-Palin Debate.

As long as Biden easily swipes away the attack and portray the debate as one of the issues that the Obama-Biden team can offer- and which McCain-Palin can't- the Democrats can win.

If Biden performs poorly for the debate I will campaign for him to resign in his firt term.

You underestimate his ability here. Biden is a good debater. In fact he won a lot of recognition for his performance during the presidential debates last year.

It was because of Obama's presence, and of Clinton, and that was why he was always considered to be a minor contender. Still as I said, if the debate is about world affairs, or even about domestic issues, I'd bet for Biden to win.

I mean, what does Palin knows about the geopolitical situation in Russia, and in Iraq and in Iran- coming from outback Alaska? All she does is parroting the official McCain line. Biden in contrast, knows all these stuff.

I know know. I just hope the democrats don't mess up. They should have won the 2004 election.

I hope Clinton runs and wins in 2012.

What is Obama's greatest achievement? Please tell. Why are u rooting for a newbie who has not much experience?

It's either the novie or the one who wants more American soldiers killed.

What is Obama's greatest achievement? Please tell. Why are u rooting for a newbie who has not much experience?

And then why are you rooting for Palin who has even less experience than Obama in the first place?

Do you think you can argue the 'experience' point when your candidate has selected someone which has an even thinner CV than Obama?

After all, being a legislator in the Illinois Senate, and being a Chicago-located state senator is not easy. The laws that you have passed as a legislator have a massive impact on the millions of people living in Chicago and the state of Illinois.

This is not even mentioning the laws and amendments that Obama passed as a US Senator. In contrast, Palin was at first a town council woman and then the mayor of a 7000 populated town- no more than the number of people working in an office building of a big MNC in downtown Wall Street at any given weekday.

So whose resume is even thinner? Kind to argue again about experience? Or you are just being blind and deaf, buddy?

U getting it all wrong. Please compare Obama's resume with McCain.

Let me repeat. So why are u rooting for a newbie Obama?

McCain is wrong about the right stuff, while Obama is right overall about the right stuff.

Any guy, like McCain, as President who most likely advocate war with Iran in the near future, and believes that China and Russia should be isolated, is playing with fire in the geopolitical world.

As far as I'm concerned, if there's any risk of war in the Middle East if McCain is elected, then, as Obama would have said it, "I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna take a 10% chance on change."

Exactly, like it or not, McCain as President would more likely attack Iran driving oil prices higher. Even if that doesn't happen, prolonged American presence in Iraq would ignite anothr conflict.

Nah. I don't know where u get the idea that McCain is that aggressive. There's a difference in standing firm in one's principle and being aggressive.

I like McCain. Because he seems to be a sensible guy. And his idea of less government, the government should get off the back of the people, I just like that kind of ideology.

Well Bush promised the same thing, and his government expanded instead(he also promised less US intervention in 2000 as well). Ronald Reagan promised the same in the 80s, and so did Bush Sr, and, like Bush Jr, government expanded and became even more intrusive instead.

Rhetoric is only useful when you do what you meant to say. If you say it, promise it, but do the opposite, then what's the point?

I mean the irony of these conservatives are striking. They promise smaller government, but expand government instead. It was left up to a Democrat named Bill Clinton to really reduce the size of government, de-regulate the financial markets, lower the taxes on the majority of people, reduce welfare rolls, and restore fiscal responsibility.

Are you still trying to beat the dead horse, when I'm not around, buddy?

Obama is no Clinton. And McCain is not an ordinary Republican.

Obama is too much like a sleek, smooth talking salesman to me. McCain, he's just down to earth, straight talking guy.

Only in the US can a governor suddenly rise to the position of a Vice President. I've always thought the Westminister System is better.

That's the problem when you live too long under a dictatorship. In a democracy, politicians are NOT elders or leaders.....they are ADMINS who run and organise things for a while. Then they must FUCK OFF after some years. The PEOPLE run the country, not some family and their cronies.

But the current USA has conceded too much power to the ruling elite. It's not a true democracy anymore.

We can easily grabbed two handful of PAP members & some ministers more apt under these statements.

McCain can't answer how many house he has and Palin can't even monitor her daughter properly how to control US of the A?

If McCain can count his houses, then the political donors worry.

If Palin monitored her daughter with an electronic chastity belt, then the youngsters of the US of A worry.
