Thus, may KTV operators follow the law-not to employ hostess, BUT equally uphold equality & assist in our national tourism aims to bring in more revenue - be open to all, male or female, to socialize & drink freely. ANY woman who DEMANDS or SOLICITATE for monetary returns from the ones she socializes or mamasan-wanna-be to extort money should not be allowed. The customer is free to give her tips, if he feels the companionship is worthy & should not be forced upon, & can be in any amount deem fit.

So for women who are in need of money, they can talk to the men & discuss for help. If the man is unable to help, then she is free to walk away to find another, a choice she has & so too the man, a social etiquette practiced even in high end gala charity dinners seeking for funds.

The police dept had been given broad sweeping powers on enforcement of the govt's interpretation of 'hostess'. How much should one tip or give aid?

In USA, most of whom are big hearted folks, of which helped & influenced our nation success & progress in many, many ways for decades, tips & finance for charity causes are usually at 10% for service or aid to be provided, which leaves one to survive, cause if we cant survive, then we cant help others.

To help our neighboring Asian countries fellow Humans, which had a lack of leadership & commitment/opportunities to their citizens, a form of voluntary Redistribution of Wealth to those in needs, we Sporeans only need to look at the daily wage of a fellow human in that particular nation.

In Vietnam, which is a majority on social passes now, it is USD $150/mth = USD $5/day.

In Thailand, it is USD $10 per day.

Based upon knowledge learnt from successful Asian neighbors & once superpowers in Singapore, on their needs for a sustainable life-

Indians-would save EVERY penny to their death
Chinese - would take risks but expect $3 for every dollar spent
Westerners, especially Americans - risk it all, spend big & earn big, or go broke in flames of glory.

So, if women denied of opportunities from their homeland, & seek better opportunities in life here, they would in economic sense, want at least to earn 3 times their salary per day elsewhere, being asians.

Thus, if they are given tips 3 times of their daily avg wage, they would be satisfied on a psychological sense, as probably at least 1 X time of their wage would pay for opportunistic mamasan & living costs-packed rental & meagre food for the duration of their stay = minus overheads, USD$20 A DAY / NOT PER PERSON, for Vietnamese from ALL customers where they work, or USD$40 a day for a thai. Anything more is a bonus daily. ( USD $1 = S$ 1.35cts)

The only ones who would not agree to such tip fees are the opportunistic mamasans, whom may had foolishly paid S$20k to S$40k to their nation's middlemen & local black market conmen to 'ease' the way for their girls thru their connections, to come here to seek financial aid, as these aged mamasans want to recoup their costs, live off the girls earnings, without realizing that Spore is the lowest in International Corruption index, unlike other nations such as Malaysia, Dubai, etc without the need for bribes to anyone in Spore, & had only been duped by conmen, being new in a foreign land to their own

Point is - As we Sporeans had been taught to study & work hard & smart, succeeded in transforming our nation from a mere trading outpost, left for dead, but by sweat & tears & rolled up sleeves to the success of today, may we all now also learn to play smart, especially the vulnerable & the lonely hearts. Our principle in life is to Hurt no one & do not be hurt by anyone.

Most Sporeans, after work, would like to relax & chill, to think through issues of the day & daily life, to for a moment in time to get away from it all & find at the least a moment from within a day that we did something right as our perceptions or conscience would allow. The least we would want is to be burdened by another's burden right in immediate front of us, & worst, if KC games are played by a companion, in the moment of our vulnerability & influenced by drinks that had lifted us to heights above mediocrities & gratuitous justifications of our own failures of the day.

In any case, hostesses had already longed been banned. Perhaps you may have, or had, or are in a companionship with another on call anytime you need it. Congrats to you, but for some whom may be vulnerable, left out, downtrodden, or lonely, if not most, whom may not be like you, that even a moment of being appreciated, to love & be loved in return, will compel another to great heights, to achieve far beyond for not just one self but society & its evolution to progress & fulfillment of destiny of Humankind.,...

To ban certain societal issues, it would need robust discussions, debates & solutions from ALL angles to resolve so that society may progress & evolve, or else - when only a broad sword of parliamentary legislated policy is swang, many innocents within & outside will be affected, & may be detrimental to our progress that our founding & forefathers had worked so hard & sacrificed for, to give us our today.

Ultimately, it lays within one's heart, regardless of race or religion, to voluntarily help another if the cause is found & is indeed genuine, to hurt none or be hurt by anyone. Those whom have more to spare, can help, within one's limit & abilities. Those whom are in individual need, there is certainly no compulsion to engage in such leisure activities, but to find & save every penny till financial or emotional issues are resolved, to do so.
