To successfully vote the opposition into parliament, one needs to imagine what an opposition can do in a Post PAP era.

After that imagination exercise is done, you will know why you need to vote a PAP out. They will not provide you with those needs which Singaporeans want. And if they decide to steal these visions that you have to implement before the elections, it shows you how desperate and morally bankrupt they have become.
But if you have a clear vision of what a party that is not PAP can and should do for you, you will be convinced to vote opposition.

Wrong. You do not need strong opposition parties. This is LKY fear tactic. You only need an opposition and strong opposition sentiments. The real heroes are the advisers that will follow the opposition. The PAP gets their clowns to do the work of their advisers. Guaranteed failure. No protection against it.

No mandate says that PAP must be around forever. That is a fact. Unless of a special incident like a magnitude 10 earthquake or nuclear bomb Singapore will be around, with or without PAP.
