No thanks to men

No thanks to men
Thank you for your comforting words.
But the problems the world is facing are unprecedented
We are indeed in perilous times

Common sense will prevail after awhile, and when you think everything is ok, everyone starts fighting again. Rinse and repeat.
During world war 2, many predicted that the end was near and the world would be engulfed in never-ending bloodshed and turmoil which will destroy civilization.
During the 1970s, people said that the economy would never recover, that the future generation was doomed to a life of stricken poverty and helplessness.
In 2003, people said that SARS and the economic crisis would unravel society and life would never be the same.
In 2008, people said that the foundations of our financial markets were close to being destroyed and economies all over the world would soon be permanently crippled.
In each of the above cases, the human race emerged stronger than ever before.
Take heart in that.
What a pair of tainted glasses.
You didn't see the problem as Bill Clinton, Bush and Obama but rather see it as Albright's, Rice and Hillary's?
I hope you are right. But this time, I fear it may be different because of Gaza and we have a weak USA and an assertive Russia. The END may be near
you know zilch about world affairs as both korea's are not even mentioned in your list. the korean situation, imo, ranks up there in foreign affairs violatility. 1 spark or mistake or stupidity, and the entire northern half of the far east blows up. the repercussion will be tremendous, affecting economies and lives in china, russia, korea's, japan, u.s., and the immediate impact and lingering aftermath will reverberate all over the world for decades to cum.
the middle east has been blowing up every now and then, and life goes on for the rest of the world. the only commodity being affected is oil, but the world has been putting up with old supply hiccups and tantrums for decades.
Oh gosh! I can't imagine a world without good 'ol USA. What will take the place of Hollywood? Can't imagine Russia or PRC providing the world with their fast foods!
Cheers!
you have some valid points. so are you suggesting that N Korea, China and NE Asia may be the major problem area?
the amount of hardship funds the pentagon is spending to keep active air force and army units operationally ready in a theater is an indication of severity of the situation. the other indication is the fear factor of troops stationed there, and the equivalent level of prayers and propaganda preached by chaplains in all the bases. the devil is always in the details.
USA has dedicated troops all over the world and they are not restricted to NE Asia.

3. There will be always both side supporter, support Israel because Hamas the one who shot 1st. And condemn Isreal because use too must force.
4. Definitely conflict in Gaza will kill more civilian. It will continue untill both side really cannot take the damage anymore. Even at killing ratio 10 to 1 Hamas have nothing to lose.
Until there is a change in leadership on both sides, the bloodshed will continue. Hamas are terrorists and Netanyahu doesn't give a shit about civilian casualties on the Palestinian side.
Looks like both sides want to bomb the shit out of each other instead of talk. There will be no happy ending here.
