What about the raised height off the ground? An obvious illegal modification.

Protruding tires are a great danger when the vehicle is moving among pedestrians. You won't like it when one of the tires roll over your feet or your child's.

I'm familiar with the L200 Triton, had the opportunity to test drive both the single and double cab version at Cycle and Carriage back in 2007.
The raised height wouldn't be an issue with LTA unless the chassis had to be modified to accommodate the new dampers/springs which I doubt so.
The rear tubular bumper may or may not be an issue, but the side tubular side step will ring bells.
