This 'monster truck' not only towers above other vehicles on the road, it also has metal bars installed as bumpers. A vehicle such as this would likely make a mess of any vehicle it got into an accident with, says a STOMPer.

Here's what the concerned STOMPer had to say:

"This 'monster truck' was spotted in a carpark near Sin Ming Avenue.

"As you can see clearly from the photo, the body of the 'monster truck' is well above the normal height and metal bars were installed as bumpers.

"I can only imagine the damage that could be inflicted to another party's vehicle should this 'monster truck' get involved in an accident.

"Could the LTA comment if this kind of dangerous vehicle is allowed on our roads?"

Damn, another brainless Stomper posting sensless queries.

I wonder if LTA did not approve this vehicle, how would the owner register it in the first place for Singapore roads.

Either this fella is envious of the owner or he really have no idea these vehicles has been around for quite sometime with different makes.

Yes its modified but LTA approved. You think any brazen fella would just park that on the road without generating attention to get caught by LTA if he/she knows its illegal.

The days of illegal mod on exhaust pipes or restriction on bull bar are over. Nowadays, as long LTA gives the approval anything goes. Suggest you read up LTA's website for more details.

It's the rear and sides that will complicate issues when this vehicle goes for inspection in about 2 years time.

Don't think the metal rear bumper would be allowed and the wheels protrude too much from the arches.

Never the less, it's still a great vehicle to drive. Pity you can't privately own this ride locally and they unless it's diesel, it's no fun, but the road tax for a diesel is a wet blanket.

What about the raised height off the ground? An obvious illegal modification.
