france and germany cannot agree on bailout plan. if this continue then countries prefer to adopt the UK model and stay out of the EURO zone. Better buy gold bars.
 
EU is a nice but challenging concept. The countries of EU never seriously cooperated historically and was plagued with wars. The temporary solution that nations of Europe came up with a few hundred years ago was imperialism and colonialim, to defuse a protracted military conflict environment, by exporting their discontent to other parts of the world. This strategy no longer works effectively today. EU must handle its internal differences before it can begin to function as a real union. Our its historical legacies will continue to plague the progress of the region.
