I do not believe that "settlement" is the correct term, because Leong the defendant did not agree, because it was decided by the Court, to award costs and disbursements to Lee the plaintiff.

We all know it is very difficult and near impossible to win LHL in the court. Appeal costs money, unless the people are willing to see LHL being cross examined then all the more they should push it with more funds.

I also believe that an appeal in a Singapore Court of law is unlikely to result in Leong's favour.
