PrezTrump necessary tariff actions to protect his country's economy. jobs, innovations & society had been upon China, Canada & Mexico. The REST of the World still abides by WTO conventions.
In any case, Singapore is TOO SMALL a manufacturing base with limited output to meet the needs of Humanity, even pharmaceuticals, let alone chips, which our semi-conductor chip industry are of the level for toys, TVs, etc... China would laugh at our limited capacity to set up manufacturing plants here, thus 'made in China' goods facing tariffs are non-existent here.
We are more a finance, service. port & importing Nation to create jobs & revenue for our own civilization, & pose no threat to anyone. We abide by international trade conventions & is a Rule of Law Nation.
Being a port city, ALL goods that are not harmful or illegal, so long as they are declared or WITH EVIDENCES that prove otherwise, are welcomed into Singapore for TRANSHIPMENT to the rest of the region & World.
As for the wild unsubstantiated claim that Singapore is a hub for transhipment of Nvidia chips, the truth will lay with Nvidia HQ & its product final destination port owner, as all cargo must be declared upon entry & exit. We Singapore have no need for advanced Nvidia chips as we have NO manufacturing ability or capacity to produce the final product that such chips are used for.
Ultimately, we Singapore, wish the best for both China & USA, & may they find common grounds to live & let live. We are a neutral party, with our own needs to serve which is best in times of peace, as trade is the lifeblood of all nations on Earth....

Yes, thus far only China, Canada and Mexico kena. Because they export extensively to the US and allow very US imports into their country. And all three caused the fentanyl epidemic in the US, China being the main producer, and Canada and Mexico being the gateways that fentanyl enters the US. Millions of illegals are also entering the US from Canada and Mexico. So all three are being fucked bigly by Trump, and they deserve it. Next will be the EU.
