Remembered him siding quietly with no proper updates how a crippled man can escape on floatation device across the straits.
Now he says that Chiam didnt ask, so no need to explain in detail.
Vote wisely on D-Day 7 May if you take your national security seriously. What's happening to the PAPees these days talking like Martians so disconnected and cosy in their bubble. You expect this kind of attitude from the Minister responsible for the safety of your family members from terrorists?

THE Government held six parliamentary sittings dealing with the issue of terrorist Mas Selamat Kastari but on these occasions, Singapore People's Party leader Chiam See Tong had spoken only once, said Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng on Saturday evening.
He was responding to the opposition party citing the Mas Selamat security lapse as a key issue for dialogue.
The SPP had on Saturday invited the public to give feedback on its policy proposals. One of the key issues it hopes to discuss is public accountability.
It said that given the string of high-profile security lapses in recent years, the public's demand for greater transparency and accountability of government policy decision making and action has increased.
On the sidelines of a community event in Toa Payoh Lorong 1, Mr Wong told reporters that he had given a full public account of the Mas Selamat security lapse on April 21, 2008, when he was Home Affairs Minister.
'I spent one hour detailing what the committee of inquiry found and I spent the next two hours answering questions from all the MPs, for those interested in asking questions,' he said.
He said that Mr Chiam had stood up to ask him a question on whether the police had considered using tracker dogs to find Mas Selamat.
Mr Wong said the opposition leader then followed up with another question.
'Now if he (Mr Chiam) says that is not enough, why didn't he stand up then and ask more questions?'
Meanwhile, members of the public who want to comment on the SPP's policy proposals and manifesto can log on to its website, www.spp.org.sg
One of its candidates, Mr Benjamin Pwee, 43, said the party was launching the exercise in the spirit of 'wanting to listen to, and represent, the voice of the common Singaporean'.
