Is Changi Village jolly or sleazy?

It is Changi Village where, according to a report last Tuesday in Chinese newspaper Shin Min, some residents are unhappy with the noise and the presence of bargirls.

The Village, while largely tranquil in the daytime, has become a night draw with at least six pubs and a smattering of seafood restaurants. The hawker centre, known for its nasi lemak, is another attraction.


The Shin Min report said scantily dressed bargirls have been observed at some pubs. Believed to be Filipinos, they engaged in tipsy behaviour with customers till 3am. It was also reported that they were in Singapore on social visit passes and would return to their country every two weeks.

Changi Village is one of Singapore's tourist attraction point. It has its own style of uniqueness over the years. The sleazy unlawful activities will be taken into actions by the law enforcement bodies if the activities are way beyond control.

Changi Village is crowded.

It is MORE CROWDED THAN MOST BIG CITIES on a Saturday Night - ya can`t even find a parking lot!

It used to be such a nice place. My favorite pub ever in Sg was Changi Europa. You could take your mom there for dinner. You could meet, hangout, drink, and dance with friends there, you could take your date there and have a great evening. Adam, Ben and Adil had fucking great rapport with the local crowd. Now, I don`t want to talk about it.

Of coz its sleazy. ..Why .?

Coz since early last year there hv been very frequent raids by ICA n AV at Duxton n Paramount, that pinoys n pub operators shifted there.
When caught, they lose demerit points and the pinoys got ban for 1-2 years.
