It's not there on my screen even right after I made a post. I used the 'search' function in the browser to find the 'edit' button and still can't find it, so it's not my eyesight.

OK, then you've got to get Sam to fix it. I had the same problem initially: rectmobile's posts had the 'edit' hyperlink; mine didn't. But boss tweaked it for me.
Can Boss Sam please help?
you need to log in to your johntan account first to be able to access the “edit” option. if you log in as john’s super sexy spouse you won’t see the “edit” on johntan’s messages.
