Assume you have nasty neighbours, one from south, one from north.
Both want you dead. Everyday they take guns to shoot at you.
Instead of fighting back with guns, you bought an expensive glass window that is bullet proof. This allow your neighbours to continue shooting at you while you have dinner , watch tv, sleep....
But once a while a bullet do get through, and cause injury and death to your family, damge your house, but you tolerate.
Are you being too kind to your neighbours?? Too kind to the point , others still accuse you are intolerant, breaking international law bla bla. But you think no other people would do that except you, because you are too kind, why people still accuse you.
