Yet the FAP Traitors have no qualms importing FTrash with fake degrees. What then is their ulterior motive? If the FAP Traitors hate SGs so much, why don't they leave the country since many of them would have secured PR elsewhere?

Indranee Rajah says that poly and ITE grads should consider
other routes of progression besides obtaining a tertiary degree. If there are
more graduates, there will be higher chances of retrenchment among the
group.

Indranee Rajah’s comments mirror the baloney of Khaw Boon Wan who said that a
degree is useless if you can’t get good jobs.

Why are PAP ministers trying to dissuade our poly and ITE graduates from
pursuing further studies to upgrade themselves?

If a university degree is not vital to judging a person’s capabilities, can
we suggest Indranee to tell the PSC to open all civil service positions to
diploma holders? Can Khaw Boon Wan tell the MFA to drop the requirement for job
applicants to have a good honours degree?

More importantly, if Indranee is so concerned about the glut of graduate job
seekers, why didn’t she vote against the Population White Paper instead of
excusing herself from Parliament that day? That is no different from the
“flip-flopping” that she has unjustly accused The Workers’ Party of. In fact,
it’s worse. It’s called hypocrisy.

Finally, if she is so concerned about competition in the job market among
degree holders, why is her Ministry awarding $36m of scholarships to foreign
students every year?

Would Indranee Rajah please explain?

Another indication of a government that is bankrupt of ideas.

Instead of promoting higher education, it is asking people to be stupid. Damn the PAP.

It is one thing to get a degree from NUS or NTU. Quite another to get a degree from SIM.

Care to elaborate?

If an economy is to grow with productivity and innovation, that can't be accomplished if we encourage people to stop pursuing higher education.

These PAP clowns are really just that ...morons. Time to kick them out.

How come they dont rerrench thiss jiak liao bee.

No need to be too educated? Sg wants to export cheap labour in the future? And provide local maids and servants to the wealthy in sinkieland?

No Leegime means higher chances of better employment.

So no need education, study until O level enough already

I wonder what would Indranee be if she had only attained an O level education. Quite rich of her to make those statements. ;)

I bet there'll be more jobs for Sinkies (uni grads and others) had the pappies not let in grads from the University of Makati or Mount Carmel Institute of Management to steal jobs from the locals.

Why she worry? The more capable grads will break bond and never return to singapore. Only the useless grads will be left here.

it s the intellectual community that are up in arms against the elite MIWs. they prefer a dumb workforce that does not question why they lost $5billion of long term investments or a shady loan to IMF.

its like saying
more people in singapore
means
more coffins need

This is true but just as important is why she allows hundreds of thousands of foreign PMETs into the country resulting in loss of jobs for Singaporean degree holders. This is an even more dangerous policy that the PAPzis have pushed through. If Indranee is so concerned about jobs for Singaporeans then how has she rationalized the continued zealous import of foreign PMETs?

Wow that's a useless statement. It's like saying when u don't eat u will die of starvation.

you still take what politicians say seriously?
all politicians around the world spout nonsense as far as i am concerned; including the president of USA

Indranee Rajah has insider info that only a privileged few have access to.

She knows that when the AEC is implemented in 2015, more local Sinkie university grads will be unable to find jobs because local Sinkie employers prefer to hire Asean grads who are cheaper, younger, no NS obligations, more productive (able to work more than 16 hours a day w/o OT claims), etc...
