Putting 2 and 2 together, I'd say yes that the poor girl suffered up to a degree where her insides were mutilated, and that Singapore would have been the only country that could not only have the hope of stabilizing her condition, but even more importantly (or sinisterly), legally transplanted the necessary organs to save her life.
And yes, those that did this to her do not deserve a quick and painless death. No, for them, the road to death should be so unspeakable and inhumane that no soul after them would deserve the same.
