According to sources, cyber security is also under him. Apparently, this guy carried the balls of his predecessor all the way to take over as the new OCBC IT boss last year. Everyday, he only sings nice songs to his boss and yells at staff below.

Typical of PAP style, when things go wrong, he will find scrape goats below to take the blame. So, you can be sure that he will find a scrape goat to take responsibility of the recent cyber security fiascos like didn't bother to subscribe to SMS registry until now. This guy is really a chia liao bee idiot. Like all Indian FTs, they are expert chameleons, able to worm their way to the top with zero contribution to the company. They are constantly creating problems in the company for themselves to fix so as to look "busy".

His credentials look impeccable. With Praveen heading the IT department, OCBC customers like myself can sleep soundly at night.

These executive leadership / management programs by "prestigious" universities are a joke. I have attended a similar company sponsored 3 month course with a well-known western university as well. They are not cheap, mine costed the company ~$40k for such a short stint and that was many years ago.

Basically you attend lessons of ~15 hours per week. During the lessons, the lecturer spends a couple of hours teaching you the theories and then you break up into groups to discuss / debate a case study. Sometimes there're also individual written papers and ppt business case building work as well.

The nature of a soft topic like "leadership" means you can literally spin anything under the sun and mesh it up with a few of your own supposed experience (up to you to BS, nobody can verify anyway) and the fact that such programs are usually attended by senior management means that almost every single attendee is a master corporate spinner and preso entertainer.

The real meat is actually building professional networks for future career opportunities for yourself or discovering potential candidates you can poach in the future.

These foreigners are around little finger of PAP gahmen who can cancel their employment pass (/ non renewal) at any suspicion of political participation (or penalise their employer with restrictions on employment pass applications).

The locals are under their command and control and they in turn will suppress the locals at any sign of political rebellion.

So PAP has its position secured, by using foreigners to control top positions, who will do everything politically strategic that PAP wants done.

NOL had a local SAF General and he single handily sank the Co. Termasek, Chip Goodyear an American was promising but he couldn't take their SHIT, so best alternative is AH Nehs frm INDIA.
