INDIA AS A TOOL TO CONTAIN CHINA
by World Affairs - Non-Partisan and Objective

Four years ago, I wrote an article explaining how there were ulterior motives behind the US allowing Indians to become CEO's of big American corporations. Now, India has gone further down that path and has almost definitely sealed its fate as a satellite of the US. The consequence will be that India will be stuck in the middle-income trap forever and won't have much sovereignty in the spheres of economics or foreign policy.

Geopolitics 101

Let me explain the basics of geopolitics. A superpower like the US maintains its status by keeping all the potential rivals weak. Here's a chart of how the US would like the world to look like:

When one of the rivals gets a bit too strong, it will be attacked mercilessly. For example, by 2012, Russia's GDP had grown 1000% in a decade. Immediately, the US created problems in Ukraine, brought down the price of oil, attacked Ruble and destroyed half its value, and has been imposing sanctions on Russia ever since. And by trying to create frictions between Russia and Germany, the US kills two birds in one stone -- keeping two competitors down at the same time. (Just like how India-China conflicts will be America's wet dream).

In the 1980s, Japan came under severe attack after Japanese cars and semiconductors started challenging the US. Result? Plaza Accord, which killed Japanese semiconductor sector, forced Yen to double in value, blackmailed Japanese auto companies into moving manufacturing to the US, and basically forced Japan to commit suicide. Japan never recovered.

This is why Chinese leaders always said, "Hide your strength and bide your time." But when ZTE announced world's first 5G call in February 2018, the US imposed sanctions on ZTE within two months, and forced the company to pay big fines and accept American supervisors. Similar attacks on Huawei, dozens of other successful Chinese hi-tech companies, and on entire China has been going on since 2017. Why? China today has grown a bit too much:

How India was Recruited and Groomed

In the war against China, the US has chosen India to be the big pawn, as traditional US "allies" like Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia have all signaled that they don't want to be a part of WW3. To give credit to the US, they have been planning on recruiting India for a long time. Let's expound on this more ...

First, one must understand the Faustian bargain that India made with the US. America opened up its job market for Indians, and India opened up its entire economy for the US! And the USA wins in both sides of the deal. Get the brightest workers from India; and in return get two things: (1) Access to 1.3 billion consumers, and (2) a geopolitical puppet state.

Democracy and Free Market are propaganda slogans. Why hasn't the US tried to spread democracy in Saudi Arabia? No, that would be very dangerous -- what if a populist Saudi guy gets elected and kicks out the US military base and starts selling oil in Yuan? That would be the end of USA's global hegemony.

And "free market" was great until China started to win. Now the US likes protectionism and hates WTO, which the US created! When Walmart buys FlipKart -- India's successful e-commerce startup -- that's cheered on as free market. But do you think the US would have allowed FlipKart to buy Walmart? Of course, not.

The Indian executives in America will never be able to go back to India and start competing corporations. The US has made sure that it has enough control over Indian banks, VC's and other financial structures to guarantee that there won't be any funding for Indian versions of Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, Google, Facebook, Amazon etc.

Totally Different Success Stories for China and India

Compare India to China, which competes with the US for the global market in all areas of technology, commerce, finance etc. There are 7 Indian companies in the Global Fortune 500 list; and there are 120 mainland Chinese companies on that list! India -- 7; China -- 120.

China beats India in every metric -- GDP-per-capita (5x), international patents (28x), foreign exchange reserves (6x), manufacturing output (10x), foreign trade (6x), poverty reduction, life expectancy, healthcare and the list goes on.

Keep in mind that, in 1991, India and China were at the same level for all those metrics.

What changed? Well, India and China both opened up to the world, but in different ways. China protected its sovereignty, while India blindly embraced "reforms." Now, it's likely that India will turn out like any other numerous developing nations -- Brazil, Mexico etc. -- which will always be poorer and obedient "allies."

To totally control a country, one must control 8 primary institutions or sectors: finance, business, media, technology, politicians, military, farming, and natural resources.

You can look at India and clearly see US' total dominance in all these sectors.

Looking at all the Indian media and the trolls on social media, it's clear that Indians have been completely brainwashed to hate China.

Every Ally is Disposable

What Indians forget is that how the US can easily switch back and forth, turning allies into enemies or other way around. This is geopolitics and is not understood by people who get carried away with emotions of the moment. Let us take a look at examples:

1947-1992: The US supported Pakistan and often opposed India. All the jihadists in Kashmir were supplied with US weapons in the 1980s. Yeah, Bin Laden was America's BFF. After the collapse of the USSR, the US swiftly dumped Pakistan and Afghanistan.

1972: To fight the USSR, the US embraced China in 1970. That love lasted for about 40 years, when Obama declared a "Pivot to Asia" to contain China.

WW2: The US partnered with Russia during WW2 to defeat Hitler. Stalin was America's BFF. Russia destroyed 70% of the Nazi military. However, within a few weeks after WW2, generals in the US and UK were considering dropping nuclear bombs on Russia! (Kill your ally and take over the world!)

Hitler and Nazis: Hitler and Nazi conglomerates were funded by Wall Street and Rockefeller before WW2. Then after WW2, all the top Nazi scientists were brought to the US under CIA's covert "Operation Paperclip." Nazi scientists got top jobs in NASA! And Nazis all over Europe were recruited by the USA to fight Russia! Yes, it makes your head spin.

Saddam Hussein: In the 1970s and 1980s, Saddam Hussein was America's friend and pawn to attack Iran. After ten years of brutal war, Saddam's value for the US had expired.

Syria 2011-2020: The US armed Al Qaeda, ISIS, and the Kurds to attack Assad. Anything it takes to achieve geopolitical goals. There's no morality. As US Secretary of State Pompeo boasted, "We stole, we cheated, we lied."

The list of American Machiavellian schemes goes on. If India thinks that the American boyfriend is going to marry her and happily live ever after, Indians are too naive and don't understand geopolitics at all.

Conclusion

No, China shouldn't be India's enemy.

For 2000 years, the two largest economies in the world were China and India. Guess how many wars they fought until the 1950s? ZERO!

A smart India will leverage China to make peace with Pakistan. That will be the wisest and Nobel prize-deserving ingenuity. Freeze border disputes for a a few years and focus on growth, trade and peace.

Imagine if India could get cheap oil and gas from Central Asia, transported through Pakistan -- that will solve India's future energy problems. Encourage China to move its manufacturing to India. There are numerous areas India and China can cooperate and also compete in healthy ways.

As a final warning, India shouldn't become a pawn of a disastrous war that will murder the "Asian century" in its infancy.

I already said this before. US will not allow anyone else to be able to compete with it.
Having said that, it's meddling in the middle East is mind boggling. Why does the US support Israel and bomb at will The Arabs/ Muslims. The Arab countries destroyed were all secular. They are not threats or rival to the US.
Now we know the neocons and zionist have a plan to create a greater Israel from the Euphrates to the Nile.

Let this guy explain what US policy makers think about China.

It's a simple as that. US cannot control the world as it used to because of China.

The Zionist lobby in the States pull all the strings in the Middle East

Now that China is a veritable superpower rival, the neocons are pulling out all the stops. Nothing is spared - Xinjiang, HK, Tibet, even Taiwan.

Jimmy Lai backed multiple threats to Hong Kong, a court heard: from the US Senate, from terrorist bombers, and from a UK man known as "Mutual Destruction Bro". At his trial hearings in recent days, he also revealed the name of a US government source sending him "Strictly Confidential" communications. Report below..

IN NOVEMBER, 2019, US anti-China "hawk" Marco Rubio was upbeat. He had found a way for the United States to hit Hong Kong without going through the democratic process. He was using a special procedure which could pass his bill, the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act, without discussion or voting on the Senate floor.

Despite the name, the bill that he was going to slide into law was not about "human rights" or "democracy". It was a law that gave the US the right to sanction Hong Kong people and annually consider the removal of Hong Kong's right to a positive external trading relationship.

The coastal city relied on international trade and the bill had a potential to badly hurt the community.

'DEMOCRACY COUNCIL'

The news about the bill's likely passage without democratic debate was announced on Twitter by the Hong Kong Democracy Council, whose members were delighted. (Despite the name, the Council is a Washington DC organization dedicated to advancing the interests of the US.)

In Hong Kong on November 15, anti-China activist and media boss Jimmy Lai made a screenshot of the Council's Twitter post and forwarded it to Wayland Chan Tsz-wah, a go-between who kept the publisher connected to the violent protest movement.

Lai expressed his delight. “Hard to see it not passing," he wrote on WhatsApp. "Excellent news.”

DRAGON SLAYINGThe past week has seen Jimmy Lai, on trial in Hong Kong ,being taken through his actions in late 2019 and early 2020 by defence and prosecution lawyers. Exchanges on the anti-China campaigner's phone are being used as a timeline for questioning.

He had many Whatsapp conversations with Wayland Chan, who already pleaded guilty to colluding with foreign forces, and who earlier testified that Lai wanted activists to overthrow the authorities in Hong Kong and in Beijing.

The messages showed that in late 2019, Jimmy Lai was interested in the remaining protesters, an extremely violent group known as "the valiant"—which included the Dragon Slaying Brigade, who would shortly afterwards attempt to commit terrorist-level mass murder bombing in crowded parts of Hong Kong, with explosives and gunfire financed by cash from an unknown source through crowdfunding.

Members of the Dragon Slaying Brigade had been positively featured in Apple Daily, but had not mentioned the horrific attacks they planned to make in December.

MAN SET ON FIRE

On November 11, a 57-year-old construction worker expressed his annoyance with black-clad protesters smashing up a metro station he was using. The activists poured petrol on him and set him on fire, leaving him horrifically injured.

The court heard that Lai wrote to Chan on WhatsApp: "It’s about time the young and brave should have leadership.

"Two days later, on November 13, Lai invited a group of anti-China activists to his home to meet Wayland Chan and discuss the need to co-ordinate the actions of the violent protests, and get the international community (meaning the US and allies) to hit harder.

On November 16, Lai wrote a Whatsapp message to Wayland Chan asking for background details of the individuals concerned at the recent violent protest at Chinese University in Hong Kong's New Territories, the court heard. Chan replied that “they were combined by different groups and led by Dragon Slaying Brigade and Black Bloc".

MY 'MOST ELITE PERSONNEL'

The Chinese University takeover had led nowhere, so the remaining protest clusters, known together as the valiants, moved to take over Polytechnic University in Kowloon.

It was a single large city block of buildings surrounded by major highways. In effect, they had marooned themselves in a place with labs and lecture halls, but no accommodation or functioning restaurants. Police simply waited at the exits, played Cantopop music ,and invited protesters to emerge peacefully, which they did on November 19.

Lai wrote again to Chan on WhatsApp, saying that the police won a major victory this time and made a clean sweep of his "most elite personnel". He wrote that this was "a big mistake", the court heard.

"Now it is the time to organize a leadership team," Lai wrote, and arranged a secret meeting with Chan in his car to discuss the situation, the court heard.

Lai asked Chan whether the key members of Dragon Slaying Brigade had already escaped earlier, before the mass surrender. Chan replied that the first generation leader was still in the Polytechnic University, but the current members were not. Lai wrote back to discuss how the arrest of the leader would impact the team.

'MUTUAL DESTRUCTION BRO'

The messages shown in court indicated that Lai felt that the best bet for a new leader was a strongly pro-violence London-based activist known as Mutual Destruction Bro. The man, whose real name was Finn Lau Cho-dik, was known for his insistence that activists should allow their lives to be wrecked as long as it also wrecked Hong Kong's economy. The principle was known as the "we burn, you burn" principle.

Lai told the court: “At that time, I had a very strong desire for the young valiant to establish a leadership group within themselves, and I thought [Lau], or ‘Mutual Destruction Bro’, could be effective.”

Early in January 2020, Jimmy Lai decided to travel to Taiwan to introduce anti-China campaigners to each other, including Wayland Chan, Mutual Destruction Bro, and Shih Ming-teh, a Taiwan independence campaigner.

THE CROWDFUNDING ISSUE

In court, the media boss said they talked about providing support to the people arrested at Polytechnic University, the economic struggles in the mainland, as well as the potential “China implosion”.

The defence then asked if Lai had discussed crowdfunding with them. Lai initially denied it, but later, after further questions from lawyers, admitted he “might have mentioned it”.

Crowdfunding was already becoming a major issue, with international crime experts warning that it was being used to transfer mystery cash across borders to violent people, including some planning to commit mass acts of terrorism—as turned out to be the case with the Dragon Slaying Brigade, just weeks later.

'STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL'

The following spring, in April 2020, Lai received a series of secret messages which evidently came from a United States official source, the court heard on Friday.

They referred to sanctions against Hong Kong people and expressed concern about the violence that was wrecking the anti-China movement's reputation. "Violence poses a serious threat to the movement," one message said.

Even though the messages were marked as "Strictly Confidential", Lai forwarded them to Wayland Chan, the court was told.

The messages came from Jim Cunningham, the US consul general in Hong Kong, Jimmy Lai told the court.

The trial continues today.

Jimmy Lai, 76, is on trial for conspiring to collude with foreign forces, a security offence illegal in most countries, and sedition, an offence illegal under British colonial law. His senior staff have already pleaded guilty in related cases.

There was no nuclear bombs to begin with. So the truth you understand is not the truth.

As I always said, when you don’t understand the truth, you will end up making wrong decisions for yourself

And then you end up mixing lies with truth lol
