From Emily Boo:
Hi Mr Mah, I would want to ask you why I can't buy a new HDB flat direct from HDB with my son instead of a resale flat? The resale flat is way beyond my means and worse still I am out of job for many months which make it more difficult to get one. I am a single parent who is 42 years old and my son is 6 years old. I went to see my MP at Aljunied GRC for many times and the replied from HDB is always a disappointment! I m just wondering how long must I have to wait to get a new flat as age is catching up. If that is the case, until I die I still can't get a new flat with my son as I m no longer young and still can wait. Do you care to answer to my question? Thank you!
