If Bridge is a sport, why can't Majong?

now i wonder, why isn't majong be classified as sport ?

In fact one needs alot of concentration & stamina for majong too.

if it involves gambling - we can just play with chips, the one with largest amount of chip wins.

I would consider any skill, that requires time and mental toughness to master, a sport.

Yes PCC and forum penning like what I am doing right now is a "sport" to me, and of coz mahjong too.
