Yesterday, we put out a job recruitment ad for a position at IDA that referred to an employee by name, instead of the job title he was vacating as his contract is ending. It was a mistake made by one of our HR team members, who was new to the recruitment publishing tool and accidentally published the employee’s name instead of the job title.

IDA has since apologised unreservedly to the employee concerned for this error, and we regret any unhappiness caused. The HR staff officer who committed the error has also been counselled and we are reviewing our procedures to ensure that this does not happen again.

I highly suspect the HR is a FT who knows nut and has no exposure in the working world. Who the hell put those type of recruitment ads? Obviously this govt is going cheap with all these "talent" to screw up the stat boards.

just a newbie hr worker at ida. shit happens with rookies. sg will not be embarrassed by such a minor insignificant blooper. the only one embarrassed is the outgoing worker, and ida has reached out to him to apologize. if the civil service doesn't make mistakes, i worry. sinkies should consider themselves lucky that the civil service is becumming more transparent with social media. thousands of "minor" mistakes were made in the so called happy golden years of sg in the 80s where pap had more than 80% support yet few or none were revealed.

Wasn't this organization, recently had a huge fallout over one the ah neh they employed has a fake degree from the University of Pondicherry? & still justify in employing her despite the cheat in qualification!....now you know, this is what you get by voting the same people in power for 51 years....the brand is well known, but the QC & the 'products' are becoming inferior quality.....the country is going to the dogs....more serious mistakes, we are going to see.... the same people they employ like this in IDA...will one day see our CPF details being hacked & sold on line...
