The sales staff are very proactive and thank us even when we did not buy anything after many tryings. Even in smaller cities like Sanya in Hainan, we did not encounter bad service. So I do not agree with the it is because they are communists theory.
I think the problem with the PRCs Singapore imports is they incurred a lot of debt to get here. Some of them might have even being promised a different job. Housing wise, being squeezed into tiny flats sharing with 10 other workers is not good for morale either. Unhappy workers cannot give pleasant service.

SZ probably got influenced by HK. and the sales staff are especially known to be have good service. very pro-active, anything to get the sales done.

Sanya is a tourist spot on that big island. naturally it has to be service oriented.

as for unhappy workers cannot give pleasant service, quite true in a way.

It is more likely that these PRC has been polluted by the aura of sinkieness in that land and nobody will be happy when infected in this way.
