Standard CPIB move. They don't arrest you at noon. It is either early in the morning or late at night. More the former. But one thing is for sure. They will leave you alone in an interview room to allow you time to reflect on your alleged misdeeds. The longer they take to record your statement, the more stressful for you. Wearing down their suspects is one strategy.

The old timers in the police force always 'guide' the newbies by telling them that whatever happen or didn't, you need to last 48 hrs. They have to release you thereafter. These motherfuckers from CPIB used to arrest you again outside their gate when you are released after enduring 48 hrs. I think this practice stopped in the late 90s.
When it comes to investigations, the police is far more superior. We handle all sorts of cases. CPIB just one Act (PCA) and they aren't doing that well from the NBG and Tey cases.
Of course China is more democratic than most countries. It's CCCP has a maximum term of 10 years and after that power MUST be given up for selection of a new CCCP. In Singapore, power can be handled down from father to son to grand-son.

CPIB officers will make an assessment of their subjects. If buay steady, they will be aggressive in behavior. If you steady poon pi pi type and have nothing to hide, they also lan lan. Came across many colleagues who boasted how steady thet were etc etc but from my secret squirrel in CPIB, these are the chaps who implicated more officers to save their own skin. Like hinting don't get angry with them or revenge on them.... hahaha !!! Hope they choke when eating fishballs... lol !!!

Can Darinne refuse to go with CPIB at 0630? After all no case yet, cannot be arrested right? Scary to think that police can have so much power for abuse. Shouldn't there be an judge or someone independent to approve any search warrant? Or I have watched too many CSI?
