3.6 envy or jealousy, this is how i interpret, is my most hated sin of sinkies.

the worst kind are those who can hide their jealousy well. this kind of pple, i categorize as scary monster...

This is one of the sinkie behaviour traits. That is why I stay away from sinkies.

One example is when someone know that you are moving to KL. One jealous sinkie will say moving to Muslim country is boring and get robbed easily but he is still stuck in sinkieland and get screwed by his govt daily.

jealousy is caused by sheer ignorance and a sense of inferiority...there is no need to envy anyone. nothing to do with any particular race. we are all humans and we should learn to be kind, magnanimous and forgiving...and also appreciate the success of others. no need to be jealous or envious of anyone or anything.

It is not just the upbringing. Everyone does it but to a certain level. It depends on where you are standing.

Confidence cannot come from NOTHING. I heard that RSAF pilots are trained to be arrogant and self-confident. If your flying skill is really lousy, you cannot be confident. If your study is really bad, you can't face the exams.

A confident person KNOWS what he has and will seldom be envious of others. Instead, one should be positive enough to congrats others to join your league. Hey ! It's an exclusive club.

Other form ... life philosophy and religion will help. To treat everything with lightness. All is vanity. There you go ! You will NEVER be envious or jealous anymore. Like a eunuch ? Mmmm ....
