Both SM and MM should not announcce their withdrawal via the media reports.

They should have announced it during a event attended by ther porlumpas. This way, we can see many rushing up the stage, beg at their feet, grab the microphones to 'prevent' them making the announcement, cry-father-cry mother.....etc.

Remember how Mahathir executed it smoothly when he annouunced his stepping down? Staged or not, I leave it to the forum.

They are still not retired from political scene. They may not be SM and MM but they are still MPs for their constituencies. They still can walk in and out of parliament.
We will not be seeing the last of their faces. No need for farewell and tears. I am more interested in the new line-up for ministers, especially on how PM will park MBT, WKS and VB.

Actually, the only fellow that LHL needs to replace is Georgie.
My prediction is that Raymond will be the next foreign affairs ministar.
Those who no need to replace: LKY, GCT, Jaya, LBH, LHH...........

He will move WKS to SM and NEH to be DPM.
MBT will stay where he is.
VB may get transport if he's lucky.
