大陸江蘇發生一起誇張的醫療事故，一名5歲的男童因高燒不退就醫，當時醫生診斷為病毒性腦炎，但是當班護理師吊點滴時，竟注射錯誤的藥物，導致男童病情加重，搶救無效身亡。經調查，2名值班的護理師遭院方辭退，也將依法規處理。

綜合陸媒報導，此醫療事故發生在上個月8日，當天男童因高燒到宜興市人民醫院檢查，醫師確診為病毒性腦炎，開始進行治療。當晚值班的2名護理師根據醫囑進行注射，醫師原本要替男童注射75毫升的「20%甘露醇注射液」，但護理師卻誤注射成100毫升的「甲硝唑氯化鈉注射液」，等到發現時，一整袋的甲硝唑已經輸入男童體內。

隨後男童身體出現不適，男童母親要求拍電腦斷層掃描，醫師看過表示並無異常，沒想到轉院途中，男童出現心臟驟停，最後因急性壞死性腦病搶救無效，不幸死亡。
男童家屬相當憤怒，要替孩子討回公道，宜興市健康委員會等相關部門介入調查，確認當晚值班護理師違反操作規範，遭到院方辭退，也會對相關人員依法規做出處理。至於後續問題，醫院已與家屬協調完畢、達成共識，暫不多做回應。

He did not expect that the boy suffered a cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital. Finally, the rescue of the acute necrotizing encephalopathy failed, and he died unfortunately.
