9月7日消息，马来西亚，据英国媒体报道，现年22岁和32岁的两名马来西亚妇女，因为在民风较为保守的丁加奴州（Terengganu）一处公共广场内，试图在车内发生性行为被当局抓到，被分别判处鞭打六次，并被判处罚款3300令吉(1令吉约合人民币1.7元整)。
