I can't stop you asking the million dollar question but there was a time and an OCBC branch on top of hill at Nantah of the past. Its history is colourful and the people associated with it and their fellow travellors are also colourful. The faith is very strong with SL though.

Hope you do know why I am asking this and why now:

1. It is 2013 and not 2016. Crunch time is still at least 2 to 3 years away.

2. Pappies who claim all opposition are moles, SDP guys who claim WP guys are moles, WP guys who claim SDP guys are moles: All these at least give people a choice.
People who claim to be pro opposition but claim all main opposition leaders are moles? They give people no choices. Very useful trump card, this mole card. If manage to convince enough people, it could be the difference between a slim victory and a slim defeat. Forget about the notion that "the others are ok". Once the leader is tainted, there will be a difference.

3. So what does that make SL and others, someone who has worked and fought side by side with him for years? Naive and blur? Surely not.

4. Pappy mentality and establishment mentality. You should remember me making this point before. It sticks. Anything gathered must be right and true. He stepped in a GRC and won it? Oh, he had to because the time was ripe. I suppose LKY told GD via a dossier who his favourite child is.

5. Back to one of my questions. Who knows about this? LHL? Georgie? Or just LKY and his most trusted henchmen? (I have used this word twice in this thread and hope it strikes a chord.) Is it beyond them to throw this mole theory about just in case people who have heard it leaked it out? Surely they realise there will be ex establishment people very eager to say things like this, and this still assumes that GD is saying this in good faith.

6. Another of my questions. CSJ is a mole and LTK is a mole? So where are the potential opposition members who are NOT moles. Joined pap to change things from within? anyway i support WP because they are no.2 now. when wp become no.1, i will support the no.2 again. i dont believe in one person control all in politics, i believe the best is balancing between 2 parties. and if Singaporeans are more mature in politics in future, best situation is multiple parties to represent different voices.

If I tell someone that they can only be with their mum if they state categorically that their mum is perfect with no flaws, guess what the answer is going to be?

There is an old British film and I think it had Michael Caine in it where the British Intelligence wanted to cover all the bases where a clandestine meeting of a certain group was to occur. In their pursuit via various departments, they compromised every individual thru various means - blackmail, money, sex, patriotism, misrepresentation etc. In the end the entire clandestine group was working for the same master but no one within the group realised that until much later. The bosses because of compartmentalisation were also not aware.

In the early years, this was the approach applied in Singapore. Some are lamp posts, some moles, some agents, some think they are patriots and some think they are working for the Opposition security team.

JBJ's WP was throughly compromised, Chiam wasn't exactly a basket case when it came to team work, Harbans is not a wall flower and Seow was caught red handed and now doing "sterling" work and now they going to give him the star of temasek for his latest coup. NSP was never a political party. Ever heard of "blocking"in American Football so that the path is limited to a few.

People like SL and her father in particular know these realities. SL met JBJ a few time and in her home before signing up. You work within the system and influence the outcome. In this day and age, in this day and age, it harder for the incumbent govt to get away with similar methods as easily as in the past.

Despite all that, votes are invaluable. They are now making the difference. So now watch the blocks and the ministers moving seats as the options dry up.

I am still willing to accept that GD has an establishment mentality and is full of himself and is not a cunning instigator.
What I want him (and possibly scroobal too) to accept is that they may have seen this or heard that, but their final conclusion and insinuation may be wrong. That's all.

I don't think you or I can also be 100% certain that they are wrong either. But what we are posting here is based on what we see over the years and the logical sequence of events..
If there was another guy who was making headway, I would be more inclined to accept his views, even if biased. I'm not claiming that GD is a lousy inaccurate forummer or even a nasty guy.
What I want to make sure is that he does not continue to be so cocksure of himself on this particular topic, and in establishing a pattern of knowledge and information through his posts, convinces many that his insinuation is correct.

The authenticity of his Persona and even most of his Posts may be verifiable by those in the know. But nobody except he himself has the foggiest clue about his Purpose. I am definitely not assuming that his purpose is for the sake of the ordinary Singaporean.

Neither am I allowing his insinuation to stand or to continue, on the basis that he was an establishment insider or that he cannot reveal more or that it is complex.
