i cook rice like once in 2 weeks on weekend.
i will make 3 cups of basmati rice with lots of garlic thrown in and then after it's cooked and cooled, i store them in containers in the freezer.
then as and when i feel like eating rice, i will put them in microwave to heat up.
my housemate says why everytime she cannot eat freshly cooked rice and i tell her it's more energy efficient and effort saving using my method. it's faster too and no need to cook rice and wait when she wants to eat.
is my method wrong?
